I believe I mentioned before that I sent my laptop to one of my sister’s friends, who works on computers on the side of his regular job.  Well, he called me yesterday to give me an update.  Short and sweet: I need to get a new laptop.  He ran diagnostics on my hard drive, and luckily it’s a-okay… so I can keep that.  I’ll probably get a case for it to turn it into an external hard drive, since I’m desperately needing another one anyway.  

The topper, however, is what happened directly after the call.  I was on my way to go work out, and the garage door almost completely fell in on top of me!  It was absolutely terrifying!  I can kind of laugh about it, but only kind of.  

I really just can’t seem to catch a break.  It’s going to cost $710 to get a new garage door installed.  With that money I could have bought a new laptop!  But not really, because it’s money we’re not really supposed to be using.  My mother told me to send out a text to all of my sisters to ask for help getting a new laptop… but it would be over $100 each if all four of them went in together, and it’s unlikely that would happen.  Eric, the guy who worked on my computer, said that the one he’d recommend is about $640.  I just… I can’t ask something like that from them!  I mean, I’m fine with them paying for dinner every now and then or something, but this is a lot more money than that.  I’m just not the kind of person who can ask something like that from anyone but my parents (and even then it makes me uneasy).    
Sigh… I’m kind of at the end of my rope here.  I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

So, last weekend my computer more or less died… so I’ve been without all week.  My N3DS has internet, but really the only place I can successfully go to is Facebook.  Needless to say, it’s sucked.

My beloved, beloved sister gave me her laptop to use this weekend.  ;v;  I’m so happy I could cry.
